Hi. I feel like it’s been a while. Winter break was great. Let’s be real, home rarely lets me down. I’ve been back on campus for a week now and almost automatically, I felt myself reverting into the same funk I was in before I left. At least my course load is hella light this semester (kudos to myself for taking capping last fall). Instead, I’m working.

oblig farewell 2011, hello 2012 post
It’s going to be hard to follow up 2011.
I rang in the New Year first with Alex and Rose on the 36th floor of the Hawaiki Tower. Firework shows are the same year after year, and after a while they lose their appeal. But I’m actually glad I chose to see them this year. Hawaii banned fireworks without a permit, so I rely on the shows to get that firecracking feel.
